Within Walking Distance

There are two restaurants that are within easy walking distance of the NIA. They are both fast-food restaurants.

• Wendy's, 301 Floyd Thompson Drive, Hampton, VA, Phone: (757) 865-6841
  Description: This is a typical fast food restaurant with burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, salads, etc.
• Sonic, 200 Floyd Thompson Drive, Hampton, VA, Phone: (757) 865-9111
  Description: This is a drive-in fast food place that sells burgers, fries, etc. It is across the street from Wendy's.
  

A Little Further But Still Very Close to the NIA

There is another group of fast-food restaurants that is within 1 mile of the NIA. It is near the intersection of Commander Shepard Blvd and Magruder Blvd.

  Description: A national pizza-chain. They have better ingredients than some other pizza restaurants. You can order online at their website. There is not a place to sit down and eat at this restaurant.

  Description: This is a pizza place that usually has a good deal on a L/XL pizza. You can order online at their website. This is a weekly favorite of some folks at NASA.

  Description: Fried Chicken and Biscuits.
