Sarah M. Lehman
Sarah joined the Safety-Critical Avionics Systems branch at NASA Langley Research Center in December of 2021, where her work focuses on the testing and verification of machine learning-based systems for safety assurance. She has additional research interests in smart health and human factors for mixed reality. For excellence in research, Sarah was recognized as a 2022
DARPA Riser.
Sarah earned her PhD in Computer Science from Temple University in 2022. She also holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Messiah College. Before joining NASA, Sarah worked as a software engineer for Lockheed Martin. In her free time, she enjoys crochet, volleyball, and discovering new coffee shops.
