Getting to Williamsburg

Williamsburg is about 45 miles west of Norfolk, Virginia, 50 miles east of Richmond, Virginia, and 150 miles south of Washington, D.C.

If you are coming by air, you can fly into Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport[link to external site], (about 20 minutes from downtown Williamsburg), Richmond International Airport[link to external site] (about 50 minutes to the west), or [link to external site] Norfolk International Airport (about 50 minutes to the east, as long as the tunnel is not clogged). Ground transportation is available at all three of these airports. International travelers might also want to consider flying into Washington Dulles International Airport[link to external site], renting a car there, and driving the approximately 3 hours down to Williamsburg.

Another option for some domestic travelers is to take the train. Amtrak[link to external site] provides direct service from Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.

The following links provide automated driving directions from the specified location to the hotel. As with all things automated, the results should be viewed with some skepticism.
