The Nature of a General Coincident Error Model
- All parameters must be measurable within feasible amounts of
time.
- Model must relate coincident error process to measurable parameters by
some "known function": P = f(p_1,p_2,p_3, ... ,p_n)
- "Known function" f must apply to all multi-version software.
- Any estimation would be strongly dependent on correct knowledge of this
function.
- The known function f must evaluate to a value in the
ultra-reliable region.
